Stories are important for culture and tradition. They help us to keep in touch with the past, learn the roots from which we come from, and honor those who paved the path before us. Our story is personal to us and is our guiding force in everything we do.
Our family has been making suits for generations - elegant clothing is in our blood. While we dressed up our clients well, there was always a missing piece; we needed different accessories to complete their look.
We tried looking for options, but nothing we found suited them. They required unique accessories, tailored for a new generation, depicting activities and places they loved, and made with quality materials.
We knew we had to make these ourselves.The prints were designed to represent things we love about life - the ocean, America, and good times we share with friends and family. First, we designed ties and bow ties, but they weren't enough. Soon came suspenders and cummerbunds to match the neckwear. Alas, Boat Tie was born.
That was several years ago when the idea was first born. We figured out which products we wanted to make (we even added polo shirts for the not-so-dressy days!) and set out to do just that.
After that came working with top-notch manufacturers to provide only the finest sourced materials to make the end products. These include the softest (yet most durable) silk, cotton, and other materials to create the best accessories. See, we're still committed to the same standards and expectations that our family first set out. This is to enusre our products last a lifetime.
Our prints and styles are derived from the same inspirations since the beginning, enjoying the finer things in life and making the most out of every day.
